When selling a home, it is mandatory to have requested a current energy label. These regulations come from the EU. The energy label provides insight into the energy efficiency of your home. It can also provide insight into opportunities to improve energy efficiency and comfort.
The label letter is determined based on primary fossil energy use in kWh per m2 per year (kWh/m2.yr). Primary fossil energy use (EP2) is the total amount of fossil energy used for heating, cooling, domestic hot water and ventilation.
